Harbour Meeting Point

Harbour Meeting Point meets in the Octagon of St Mary's Church, Church Street, on Monday mornings from 10.30 a.m. to Noon excluding Bank Holidays.
The aim of the Harbour Meeting Point is to provide resources in the form of literature from local organisations, self help resources and trained volunteers to inform individuals on different aspects of mental health including spirituality and wellbeing and to promote community and social inclusion.
The project is run by a steering group formalised by the local Council for Voluntary Services and comprising a number of agencies working towards the development of social support for people with mental health concerns in the commnity.

A large number of people have passed through and have found it a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment.  Many people have remarked on how much they value the location as a calm space.
