DESCRIPTION:This month’s Lunchtime Concert will be a celebration of Christmas with carols and readings – and a chance for audience participation. \n\n\n\nMaldon Court Preparatory School Choir will be there to lead the singing of the traditional carols\, and Richard Maison will be at the grand piano. \n\n\n\nJoin us from 12.15 for tea or coffee and a mince pie\, and as always\, you are welcome to bring your lunch. The carols will start at 1pm and finish by 2pm to fit in with office lunch break. \n\n\n\nThere will be a retiring donation in aid of CHESS Chelmsford Homeless Charity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMaldon Lunchtime Concerts are organised by CHURCHES TOGETHER in MALDON\, as part of their community programme. \n\n\n\nConcerts start at 1pm on the second Thursday of the month at the United Reformed Church\, Market Hill\, Maldon\, Essex (the church is on the right-hand side of Market Hill as you descend from the High Street). Coffee and tea are served from 12.15 pm onwards. The concerts received an international audience in 2017 reaching as far as the New York Post and beyond. \n\n\n\nPlease feel free to bring your lunch and to come and go as you wish. Full disabled access is available. The concerts are non-profit making; fees and costs are met by donations from the audience at the end of each performance.  \n\n\n\nWe have a Steinway Model B grand piano which is used at our concerts together with the church’s video\, lighting and sound facilities.  \n\n\n\nNo entry fee or ticket required.
