DESCRIPTION:A brand new monthly activity for people living with dementia and their carers! \n\n\n\nFamiliar music is proven to unlock memories and promote wellbeing in those with Alzheimer’s and similar conditions. In this new venture\, talented pianist and URC Singing Group leader Richard Maison invites you to join him for a sing-along\, with the focus this month on familiar and much-loved carols. \n\n\n\nJoin Richard and the team from Maldon District Dementia Friendly Community around the grand piano for a trip to Christmas past\, rolling back the years with familiar festive music. \n\n\n\nThere is no charge for this activity and no need to book\, just turn up and join in.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor more information call 07940 23160 or email maldondistrictdfc.enquiry@gmail.com.

SUMMARY:Free Children's Christmas Crafts
DESCRIPTION:It’s back! Our fantastic children’s craft event opens its doors again for lots of crafty\, creative Christmas fun! \n\n\n\nThe event is suitable for children from toddlers to approximately year seven. Children aged five and under must be accompanied by an over-16 at all times. Older children can be left subject to numbers. \n\n\n\nArts and crafts are free\, and there are free hot and cold drinks\, mince pies and biscuits for participants and adults. Come along and make some special memories and take home Christmas items the kids have made to decorate your home! \n\n\n\nThere’s no need to book\, just come along and join in for the whole session or drop in when you can!
