DESCRIPTION:A fun musical monthly activity for people living with dementia and their carers! \n\n\n\nFamiliar music is proven to unlock memories and promote wellbeing in those with Alzheimer’s and similar conditions. In this new venture\, talented pianist and URC Singing Group leader Richard Maison invites you to join him for a sing-along\, with favourite songs and tunes from the past. \n\n\n\nJoin Richard and the team from Maldon District Dementia Friendly Community around the grand piano for a trip back in time\, rolling back the years with familiar music. \n\n\n\nThere is no charge for this activity and no need to book\, just turn up and join in. \n\n\n\nWe will have winter coats\, blankets and twiddle muffs available to take home free of charge for those who would benefit from these.
