DESCRIPTION:Churches together in Maldon has organised the annual Good Friday Walk of Witness\, when Christians from all of the town’s churches will join together to walk silently through the High Street behind the cross. All are very welcome to join. \n\n\n\nThe morning begins with refreshments at the Catholic Church\, Victoria Road\, from 9am followed by a short service at 9.30am.  \n\n\n\nThe procession will depart from the Catholic Church at 10am and will conclude with a short service outside All Saints church around 10.30am. \n\n\n\nThe road will be closed and there are marshalls for safety.

In this new venture\, talented pianist and URC Singing Group leader Richard Maison invites you to join him for a sing-along\, with the focus on well-known and much-loved songs that will bring back fond memories. \n\n\n\nJoin Richard and the team from Maldon District Dementia Friendly Community around the grand piano to sing in the New Year\, rolling back the years with familiar music. \n\n\n\nThere is no charge for this activity and no need to book\, just turn up and join in.

SUMMARY:Lunchtime Concert: Carols and Readings (piano and audience participation)
DESCRIPTION:This month’s Lunchtime Concert will be a celebration of Christmas with carols and readings – and a chance for audience participation. \n\n\n\nMaldon Court Preparatory School Choir will be there to lead the singing of the traditional carols\, and Richard Maison will be at the grand piano. \n\n\n\nJoin us from 12.15 for tea or coffee and a mince pie\, and as always\, you are welcome to bring your lunch. The carols will start at 1pm and finish by 2pm to fit in with office lunch break. \n\n\n\nThere will be a retiring donation in aid of CHESS Chelmsford Homeless Charity. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMaldon Lunchtime Concerts are organised by CHURCHES TOGETHER in MALDON\, as part of their community programme. \n\n\n\nConcerts start at 1pm on the second Thursday of the month at the United Reformed Church\, Market Hill\, Maldon\, Essex (the church is on the right-hand side of Market Hill as you descend from the High Street). Coffee and tea are served from 12.15 pm onwards. The concerts received an international audience in 2017 reaching as far as the New York Post and beyond. \n\n\n\nPlease feel free to bring your lunch and to come and go as you wish. Full disabled access is available. The concerts are non-profit making; fees and costs are met by donations from the audience at the end of each performance.  \n\n\n\nWe have a Steinway Model B grand piano which is used at our concerts together with the church’s video\, lighting and sound facilities.  \n\n\n\nNo entry fee or ticket required.
