Melodies for Memories – Sing-along for people with Dementia

A brand new monthly activity for people living with dementia and their carers!

Familiar music is proven to unlock memories and promote wellbeing in those with Alzheimer’s and similar conditions. In this new venture, talented pianist and URC Singing Group leader Richard Maison invites you to join him for a sing-along, with the focus on well-known and much-loved songs that will bring back fond memories.

Join Richard and the team from Maldon District Dementia Friendly Community around the grand piano to sing in the New Year, rolling back the years with familiar music.

There is no charge for this activity and no need to book, just turn up and join in.
